In this six-session intensive workshop in Moreton Bay, you will build on your drawing foundations and consolidate your skills from Drawing 101. By the end of the course, you will have a collection of exercises and finished drawings to take home, showcasing your progress and newfound abilities. Designed to expand your artistic skills, this workshop aims to alleviate any fears you may have about drawing by providing the right guidance. In each session, you will explore different aspects of drawing, from visual notetaking to using soft pastels animal drawings. The course will help develop a sense for the abstract, tone, texture, perspective, composition, and more. - Session 1: Enhance your skills in visual notetaking and drawing blind. - Sessions 2 & 3: Dive into tone, texture, and perspective through an architectural landscape. - Sessions 4 & 5: Explore composition, framing, shape, texture, and tone by drawing personal objects or a still life. - Session 6: Experiment with soft pastels to depict form and texture in animal drawings. Throughout the workshop, you will work with a variety of materials, allowing you to experience different techniques and styles. By the end, you will have bridged the gap between basic drawing skills and your own creative path, feeling confident in your abilities to create captivating artworks.
