Mixed media with watercolour, ink and coloured pencil. Framed dimensions 31cm (W) x 38cm (H) x 0.5cm (D). Native Australian pigeons are quiet, placid birds that are most often seen in pairs. This painting pays tribute to this and their irridescent colours. Like many of my paintings, the birds 'appeared' from the watercolour ground and evolved from there. Blue, green, purple. Frame in natural wood.
